From Silence to Strength: Stephanie Walker’s

Journey of Survival and Justice

After years of silence, survivor and advocate Stephanie Walker, founder of

IAMNOLONGERSILENT and Women of God Ministry, has turned her pain into

purpose. Once silenced by trauma, she now stands as a living testament to strength,

healing, and justice—using her voice to empower others to rise from their own pain.

This year marks a pivotal chapter in Stephanie’s journey, as Edgar Daniel Johnson,

59, of Swainsboro, Georgia, was officially charged and remains publicly listed in the

state registry. For Stephanie, the acknowledgment was more than a legal outcome—it

was validation, accountability, and closure after years of silent endurance. “I didn’t

survive to stay silent,” Walker said. “I survived so no one else would have to carry

shame for what someone else did to them.” Through her ministry and advocacy,

Stephanie has become a guiding light for countless women and families navigating

the aftermath of trauma. As a certified life coach and therapist, she works directly

with survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault—offering not only

counsel but also compassion born from her own lived experience. Her work with Just

Detention International extends beyond advocacy—it’s a calling to restore dignity to

those whose voices have been taken. In addition to her advocacy, Stephanie serves

as an advisor and mentor for those without a voice, bridging faith and healing in

her approach. Her ministry, Women of God Ministry, provides a sacred space for

women to heal emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, reinforcing that God’s grace can

meet even the deepest wounds. The past year brought unimaginable personal

challenges for Stephanie. While pursuing justice in court, she faced the

heart-wrenching news that her only child—just sixteen—had been diagnosed with

AML Leukemia. Yet even while sitting in court beside her child, fighting for both justice

and his life, she remained unshaken in faith. “There were moments I wanted to give

up,” she shared. “But my healing is my justice. My purpose is to help others reclaim

theirs. I am no longer silent.” Her strength continues to inspire survivors and

communities nationwide. Through IAMNOLONGERSILENT and Women of God

Ministry, Stephanie Walker proves that healing and justice are not separate

journeys—they walk hand in hand when faith leads the way.She has received multiple awards for her work speaking at U.S. Military Installations

and is a published author, using her voice to bring healing and awareness to

survivors worldwide.

“God is within her, she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”
